The AIM Foundation is “bridging the gap between research and access to care for youth struggling with their mental health by finding, funding and implementing evidence-based treatments, empowering youth to discover their own mental health solutions, and training caring adults to create a safe holding place for children, teens, and young adults.” AIM Grants aim to expand clinical research in youth mental health by focusing on new therapies, diagnostic tools, early interventions, and/or new technologies. Research can be in psychiatry, neuroscience, or any other social or behavioral science with an interest in youth mental health. AIM funds research that applies to children, teens, or young adults up to 26 years of age.
Awards available this funding cycle:
- Two AIM Clinical Science Fellow Grants of $50,000 for a one-year fellowship.
- Two Equity and Implementation Grants of $10,000 will be awarded for projects that demonstrate creative approaches to expanding access to evidence-based treatments for children and teens in underserved communities.
Faculty applications are due March 24, 2023. Link to apply can be found HERE.
